CRAFT BEER FROM CAMPANIA CHERITRA

Cheritra is inspired to the California common style made famous by the Anchor Brewery company –San Francisco, California – an hybrid beer as fermented with lager yeasts at the typical ale temperatures.
The name derives from the butterfly of the common imperial genus – Cheritra Freya- characteristic of India, Malaysia and Sri Lanka.
The nose smells aromas of honey, warm sponge cake, unleavened bread; fruity notes, in
particular ripe yellow fruits such as apricots and loquats.
On the palate the attack is decided with slightly candied and fruity notes; well structured body; the ending is hot, typically ethylic, with a balanced note of herbaceous bitter.
The use of European noble hops such as Saaz allows Cheritra to be appreciated not for
complicated spicy and aromatic notes, but for its round and rightly bitter taste
A drinkable beer despite its rather strong alcohol content.
We suggest pairing with white meats, fried vegetables, shellfish, cheese also the seasoned kind, and berry made sweets.
